Biography
I founded Omni Common to help you grow your brand/customers/transactions/revenue/profit according to plan, not according to vibes. Because just throwing dollars into a new channel with no sense of how it’ll all work out isn’t going to get you where you want to go. For you, we build and execute a holistic, "omnichannel" growth strategy so you hit your profitable revenue goals. And we don't just run campaigns, we build growth systems with our blend of revenue operations and search-led digital marketing. PAST: After 1 year+ in transition, and putting my passion for growing startups, scaleups and businesses into practice via consulting (while also being a self-funded searcher (E.T.A.)), Ryan Charles Consulting has now transformed into Omni Common, an search-led growth marketing agency.
In 2023, after a 13 year journey, I took some time to let my brain re-charge on a "sadaditcal" (sabbatical for dads) from all this:
- Headed a business unit for Porch's multi-brand moving division. Integrated 4 M&As and owned $50m+ P&L as General Manager of a new division w/ team of 150+.
- I led growth at HireAHelper across all channels (BD, corp dev, sales, marketing, etc.) on a bootstrapped budget from $1m GMV to $20m GMV to an eventual successful exit. Additionally led consumer product marketing and experience—constantly balancing SEO and CRO of our ecommerce site.
I’m a systems engineer turned growth leader for startups and rapidly scaling biznases, specifically vertical SaaS / marketplaces.
I've got a diverse background that's taken me from the floor of an industrial plant to the ivory tower of corporate headquarters to the war room of an online startup to the floor of the NASDAQ. It's given me an opportunity to work on the many different sides of a business: operations, engineering, business development, sales, M&A, product development and digital marketing.
Specialties include picking low hanging fruit, herding cats, and synergizing synergies....all while wearing lots of hats.
