Galen Counselman is the SVP/Chief Information Officer at PenAir Credit Union, where he has been instrumental in developing the credit union's IT leadership, strategy, and digital technologies. His expertise spans IT Leadership, IT Strategy, Digital Technologies, Data and Analytics, and Information Security. Galen has a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida and maintains a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation. He has a rich career in Information Technology, with over 25 years of experience, and has transitioned to the financial industry in 2015. His leadership roles include overseeing Digital Products and Services, Payments, Information Security, Data Analytics, Facilities & Construction, and Project Management.
