تعمل آنا سكوت كأخصائية تقنية في فريق المبيعات العامة في إنتل منذ فبراير 2019. وهي تركز على كيفية الاستفادة من الحوسبة الطرفية و5G لتحسين نتائج الأعمال والحكومة. انضمت إلى إنتل في يوليو 2015 كمهندسة حلول للطاقة حيث عملت في مجموعة متنوعة من المشاريع المتعلقة بإنترنت الأشياء بما في ذلك العمال المتصلين، الصيانة التنبؤية، أتمتة رؤوس الآبار، وأتمتة المصافي.

لقد قضت 15 عامًا في صناعة تكرير النفط و8 سنوات في علوم الحياة. مؤخرًا، كانت مديرة الهندسة لمصفاة صغيرة مملوكة للقطاع الخاص، بيغ ويست أويل LLC في يوتا. بدأت مسيرتها المهنية كمهندسة عمليات في فلينت هيلز ريسورسيز (كوخ إندستريز) ثم انتقلت إلى UOP LLC، المطور الرائد للتقنيات الجديدة للمصافي والمجمعات البتروكيميائية في العالم. في UOP LLC، شغلت آنا أدوارًا في الهندسة وخدمات التشغيل الميدانية حيث ساعدت في بدء تشغيل وحدات معالجة جديدة في المصافي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وأوروبا وآسيا.

تركت آنا UOP LLC للحصول على الدكتوراه في الكيمياء الحيوية من جامعة يوتا ولتأسيس شركة تكنولوجيا حيوية (Glycosan BioSystems، التي اندمجت الآن مع BioTime) التي تصنع مصفوفة شبه صناعية تستخدم لزراعة الخلايا ثلاثية الأبعاد وهندسة الأنسجة. عملت كمديرة عمليات لأكثر من عامين، حيث طورت وأنتجت أول منتجاتهم وأدارت علاقات البحث مع عدة جامعات. حازت آنا على درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكيميائية من جامعة كانساس، ودكتوراه في الكيمياء الحيوية من جامعة يوتا، وماجستير تنفيذي في إدارة الأعمال من جامعة يوتا، وكانت زميلة ما بعد الدكتوراه في مركز ريكين لعلوم الجينوم في يوكوهاما، اليابان.
